“Were you watching me sleep?” I asked.

When I woke up in the beautiful room where he had previously turned me mad with lust, Arthur was lying there, arms folded behind his head, looking at me.

“Guilty.” His deep voice stirred a fire between my legs, and I wondered if I would ever get enough of his doting demeanor.

It made me want to roll over and expose my belly to whatever depraved whim he had on his dirty mind.

The very sight of his silver hair and sound of his growly confidence made me feel coveted and safe.

The experience was so different than anything I’d ever encountered.

“Oh my gosh, what time is it?” I bolted upright, holding the covers to my chest.

“Four-thirty, why?” He reached over and tugged gently to expose my breasts.

“Gah! I’m supposed to meet friends at five o’clock at Splendor in the Grass for dinner!” Ariella, Peggy, and I were looking forward to seeing each other at a girl gathering tonight.

“You can make it on time, kitten. If you’d like to shower I can drive you in to town.”

It felt like Arthur could really see me.

I flipped the coverlet away from my body, and Arthur grabbed my arm.

“Look at me,” he said, preventing me from leaving.

“Who do you belong to?” His pupils were dark with desire.

It would be a true feat of nature if I managed to put myself together in fifteen minutes.

I threw my hair into a messy bun in a way that didn’t reveal I had my brains fucked out a short while ago.

My girls would be able to see that I was glowing with desire.

I walked into Splendor and saw Peggy and Ariella seated at a corner booth covered in cushions.

I slid in next to them. “Sup bitches?” It was my standard greeting for our threesome.

“You look different,” Peggy said, cocking her head and running her strand of pearls back and forth through her fingers.

“How so?” I wrapped my arms around my body.

“I don’t know. Softer around the edges. Like you have the glamor glow filter shining on you. What’s up?”

Ariella was bright eyed, and she leaned toward me and clutched my arm. “Tell us!”

“You all are relentless,” I demurred.

The waitress came over and Peggy ordered us a bottle of Pinot “Jesus juice” and we all decided on a charcuterie board for three.

“Can’t discuss important matters and drink wine on an empty stomach,” she said.

“Okay, spill,” Ariella ordered. “No holding back, that’s how we roll. What are you up to besides no good?”

“Oh, it’s good.”

They pushed back from the table simultaneously and cooed, “Ohhhhhh.”

“I met a man, an older man.
